Mezzano In Chianti is actually a medieval hamlet that is composed of 2 stone-walled buildings overlooking a courtyard with stone oven. Set on a hill, it offers panoramic views of the countryside.
The apartments have different designs but all include terracotta floors and country-style furniture. Each one has a kitchenette and Wi-Fi connection.
The swimming pool is open from mid May until mid October and has plenty of sun loungers and a gazebo with tables and chairs.
The Castello di Verrazzano and Greve in Chianti are both 20 minutes' drive away. There are a number of wineries to visit in the area and Florence's historic centre is 30 minutes away by car.
